Hello, I’d like to talk to you about the tea. Almost everybody here in Taiwan drinks tea. Some people in America do, most don’t. Now there is a big difference between tea here in Asia and tea in America.

Tea here in Asia usually comes in a box like this. Inside the box is a bag. In the bag is loose tea leaves not ground up tea leaves but loose tea leaves usually they're rolled up kinda like little balls. When you put hot water on them, they open up. There's different grades of tea. There’s really expensive tea here. This is good tea. In America, most people when they drink tea, get tea bags. Here, you can get tea bags but serious tea drinkers here look at a tea bag and say “ we sweep that up off floor, and we send it to you. We don’t drink that here.” There are teas with different flavors here. There's teas with flower flavors, fruit flavors. Most tea they’re really good tea, come from high up in the mountains. So, it’s very common to see the label that would say ‘high mountains tea.” Usually means  better tea.
