1. I surf the net whenever I get the chance. I spend a lot of time on Facebook looking at what my friends have posted. I play Facebook games, too.

2. I don't surf the internet more than a few times a week. I only go on to check my e-mail. I'd rather spend my time doing something more productive.

3. I'm kind of a computer nerd, so I am on it every day. Most of the sites that I visit are about technical computer stuff like programming. It's more or less a hobby of mine.

1. I am constantly worried about getting good grades at school. My parents put a lot of pressure on me to perform well. I hope I live up to their expectations.

2. I often worry about my grandpa. He is getting old and his health isn't very good. I wish I had more spare time to help him out around the house.

3. I am not a worrier. I try not to let anything get to me. However, I occasionally worry about my weight. With my busy schedule, I just don't have enough time to exercise.

1. I'm only 12. I've never had a job before. I hope that I don't have to get one for a long time.

2. I worked at the teashop near my house one summer. I gained a lot of work experience there. It was nice to make some extra spending money, too.

4. My first job was at a department store. I worked there on weekends and after school while I was in university. It wasn't the best job, but my co-workers were nice.

1. I don't have anything too important in my wallet and I usually don't carry much cash with me. So I wouldn't worry to much about it. I'd just buy a new wallet.

2. First, I would frantically search everywhere for it. If I couldn't find it, then I would call the bank and cancel my credit cards. What more could I do?

3. I would ask around to see if anyone found it. If that didn't work, I report it the police. Hopefully, they would be able to locate it for me.

4. I'd wait for a few days and see if it turned up. If not, I'd cancel all of my bank cards and request new ones. I'd also have to get a new student ID card.

5. It actually happened to me once. It was a big hassle having to phone around and report my cards stolen. Not to mention that I lost more than 2000 dollars in cash.

1. My mother organizes a family get together every year. All my relatives come over and we have a big meal along with birthday cake. Then we just sit around and visit.

2. I'm not really that big on birthdays. I try not to mention anything about it and hope that no one remembers. I don't like people making a big deal about it.

3. I usually invite 5 or 6 friends over and have a little party. We sing songs on the karoake machine and my mother cooks a special me for us. It's nice to be surrounded by friends on my birthday.

4. Most birthdays, I try to plan a weekend trip somewhere. It's kind of a birthday present to myself. I take this opportunity to relax and unwind for a couple of days.

1. I'm not sure whether I like it or not because I have never really done it. My mom does all the cooking around our house and she has never taught me how.

2. I hate cooking with a passion. It takes too much time to prepare everything. I would rather just go out and buy all of meals. It's far more convenient.

3. No, I don't really like cooking. I only do it if I have no other choice. Sometimes I have to cook for the family when my mother is busy. It is such a pain.

4. Yes, I enjoy cooking. I actually find it very relaxing. I also think that it is a very good skill to learn. Everyone should know how to cook for themselves.

1. I just finished reading a book about Chinese history. It was mostly about the different dynasties and the emperors that ruled during these times. I certainly learned a lot.

2. I haven't read anything but school books for some time. The last thing I read for myself was the first book in the Twightlight series. It was about a vampire who falls in love with a regular girl.

3. The last thing I read was a comic book. I'm not sure if that counts, but I never read novels. They are too long and boring for me. I find comics much more interesting.

4. I recently read the latest Harry Potter novel. Harry Potter is a boy who goes to school to become a wizard. He always has to overcome some evil power that threatens him.

5. Last month, I read the second book in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. It was called The Two Towers. It was about a hobbit who is on a journey to destroy a ring that has magical powers.

1. I would tell the person to put it back. I would explain how stealing is wrong and that they shouldn't do it. Hopefully, they would see it my way and return the item.

1. I kill time by watching TV. Time can go by very quickly when you're watching a good program. Maybe it's not the most productive way to kill time, but I enjoy it.

2. I often read to kill time. For example: If I'm at a restaurant waiting for a friend to show up, I'll read the newspaper to make time go by more quickly.

3. I rarely have time to kill, but, when I do, I like to play games on my cell phone. I actually have a game that helps me improve my memory, so it isn't a complete waste of time.

4. Gossiping with friends is a good way to kill time. I often do this to pass the time between classes at school if I have nothing better to do.
